Shane has extensive experience in, designing, implementing, and assessing businesses and community programs working with private foundations, developers, health care systems, tribal corporations, trusts, universities, and charter schools in Hawaii, Australia, New Zealand, and the U.S.

As an Educator and Specialist at the University of Hawaii at Manoa for 15 years, he is an experienced data analyst, business consultant, and instructor of psychology, statistics, research methodology, and Hawaiian education. Shane designs educational programs, community initiatives and business strategies and excels in building affiliations and partnerships.

He is a founding member of the Hawaiian Society of Law and Politics and sits on several Boards of Directors. His lobby, grant, research, and policy work includes:

● Securing $9 million for the Native Hawaiian Health Care System of Kauai,
● Procuring $1.2 million for Native Hawaiian Teacher Education,
● Successfully authoring and promoting support for joint Senate/House resolutions and bills,
● Receiving and managing Federal grants for Hawaiian programs, and
● Building project-based learning facilities for Hawaiian communities and Hawaiian charter schools.

Shane comes from a lineage of real estate advisors, investors, and developers, and grew up learning to serve as a community liaison, property manager, appraiser, title abstractor and learned to support and close sales.

On the development side of real estate he has been involved in; regenerative land use and homesteading, designing lot plans, clearing and site work in watershed and sensitive ecosystems, home construction, innovation and technology-driven projects, and due diligence across several business sectors.

Biocultural Expert

Dr. Mindahi Bastida

Dr. Mindahi is an Otomi-Toltec Wisdom Keeper, Academic, and Biocultural Expert.

He is the founding member of The Grand Council of the Eagle and the Condor to protect Mother Earth through caring for sacred sites and strengthening her biocultural territories. Mindahi is the Coordinator of the Otomi-Toltec Regional Council in Mexico.

He has been an Otomi-Toltec Ritual Ceremony Officer since 1988 and works diligently as a caretaker of the philosophy and traditions of the Otomi-Toltec peoples.

Dr. Mindahi Bastida is an Otomi-Toltec Wisdom Keeper, Academic, and Biocultural Expert. He is the founding member of The Grand Council of the Eagle and the Condor with over three decades of experience in rural development and biocultural preservation.

He has extensive experience consulting with the United Nations Programs, focusing with UNESCO on global policies for climate change and regenerative development for communities and bioregions.

● Leading policy and educational development as the former Director of the Original Caretakers Program at the Center for Earth Ethics at Union Theological Seminary

Mindahi has a doctorate of rural development from the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana in Mexico, and utilizes his expertise in this area as the President of the Mexico Council of Sustainable Development.
